About my classes

As a teacher, I’ve had the opportunity to work and connect with people of different ages and locations, and teach diverse choreographies from different styles of dance and movement.

I have a deep passion for the physical expression of feelings, emotions, and images, through the telling of stories using body language. This guides my work as an instructor in the last 13 years of experience, and is the main thing I try to convey to people in my classes.

I give classes in different dance styles such as Contemporary, Ballet, and Musical Dance. I am currently seeking opportunities to teach and connect. Please feel free to contact me.

Contemporary

In my class, I encourage each person to find their dynamic center, by tapping into their breath and embracing a sense of release, which allows the body to move freely, joyfully, and curiously through the space.

We focus on physical expression and images which gradually lead to the development of an authentic voice, that allows for connection to the space, the music, and the imagination that guides our improvisation

We tune the movement through patient, internal research of their origin, their progression, how they influence the space, and what they leave behind

Ballet

I have always been a strong advocate for the ballet technique, recognizing its power to shape and refine a dancer’s skills. However, through my own journey as both a dancer and a teacher, I have discovered a deeper, more personal approach to ballet. I believe that it is entirely possible to approach the precision and discipline of ballet with a sense of freedom and joy, allowing people to connect with their inner voice and unique expression. By integrating pleasure and curiosity into the learning process, the ballet technique can become not only an art form but also a powerful mode of self-expression.

In my classes, I emphasize the importance of harmonizing breath with movement, exploring the dynamic interplay between the energy within the body and the energy that flows outward. From this mindful space, we tap into a deeper connection with the music, and the technical aspects of ballet emerge from a place of joy and curiosity. This creates an environment where the artistry of ballet is experienced as both a disciplined practice and a joyful exploration of the body’s potential.
