Liron Kichler

My Moon is Made of Plastic

Premiere 28 May 2023 at The School of Visual Theater

19th of July 2024 at 'Studio Hannibal' Gallery, Berlin

Dance and Choreography: Liron Kichler

Crafted mask and props: Liron Kichler

Photographer: Amit Man

In her solo piece, Liron explores topics of belonging and connection, to ourselves, the world around us, and the people in it. She performs as a neurotic and restless "fly on the wall", observing, and seeking calm and presence, in a superficial world; seeking to change the substance that the world is made of, so it can safely exist in it. Liron discusses common feelings of absence, in body or mind, wearing a mask she crafted, which represents an internal feeling of invisibility, and acts to shield her from her surroundings and allow her to feel safe and connected.'
