My Classes
As a teacher, I’ve had the opportunity to work and connect with people of different ages and locations, and teach diverse choreographies from different styles of dance and movement.
I have a deep passion for the physical expression of feelings, emotions, and images, through the telling of stories using body language. This guides my work as an instructor in the last 12 years of experience, and is the main thing I try to convey to people in my classes.
I give classes in different dance styles such as Contemporary, Ballet, and Musical Dance. I am currently seeking opportunities to teach and connect. Please feel free to contact me.
Contemporary
In my class, we explore through movement the connection between the energy inside of the body, the energy outside of it, and the dialogue between them, while breathing, paying attention, finding the curiosity in it, and discovering the pleasure with it
Through that, we are starting to focus on physical expression and images which gradually lead to the development of an authentic voice, that allows for connection to the space, the music, and the imagination that guides our improvisation
We tune the movement through patient, internal research of their origin, their progression, how they influence the space, and what they leave behind
Ballet
I am a big believer in classical ballet techniques. With that, within this technical place, I emphasize the importance of the flow of the movement, from a place of free expression and pleasure, through connection to ourselves and to the music.
In the class, we’ll work on the quality of movement, through bodily attention, internal investigation, and the patience that this language requires. We will not skip working on proper footwork, posture, spatial awareness, and upper body presence.
My classes are suitable for classical and contemporary dancers, alike. I invite you to join me and bring openness and curiosity.
Musical Theater Dance
My musical dance theater classes combine elements of dance, theater, and music to create a dynamic and expressive learning experience. Participants engage in a creative fusion of movement and storytelling set to musical accompaniment. The classes focus on developing both technical dance skills and the ability to convey emotions and narratives through movement, providing a comprehensive approach to performance art.
